Digital 3D dentistry

stomatologia cyfrowa 3d

Digital dentistry involves using a computer to scan the oral cavity, design a suitable restoration process and then carry this out with a milling machine.

Digital dentistry has seen significant development over the past 30 years, by such companies like SIRONA in Germany. The aim is to reconstruct lost teeth or tooth tissue using CAD CAM technology.

This is the fastest growing technology in dentistry.

At our clinic we are able to perform all-ceramic and metal prosthetic restorations. A special feature of this method is the high accuracy in matching the restoration to the tooth surface, far beyond anything attainable by technicians. It is also important that it minimises the amount of milling required, as well as protecting the gums and periodontal areas.

Our clinic has two CEREC systems:

  • scanning consoles, equipped with an intraoral camera
  • milling machines for In Lab MC restorations

We also use the latest CEREC PREMIUM SW 4.4 and inLab 15 software.
